In Polar Visions' Episode 1, with the adventure-loving style of The Crocodile Hunter, Ryan Vachon leads us into the learning and discovery process about climate change and global warming. Beginning at the National Renewable Energy Laboratories (NREL), he guides us through the past history of polar exploration. Interviewing experts along our discovery adventure, Vachon's exquisite photography takes us to Alaska to see the permafrost melting. At the end of this first of two episodes, we’re taken to Greenland where ice core drilling scientists share their discoveries with us.
