Colorado Neurological Institute's conference Sept. 13, 2014 at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Denver featured Dr. Allen Bowling, MD, PhD, MS and CAM Specialist, speaking on "Marijuana: What Does the Evidence Show?"

Over the past 20 years, Bowling has followed the rigorous scientific studies about marijuana's benefits and risks to those with various neurological conditions, including multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, parkinson's, and others. He also answers a few questions toward the end of the speech, which is followed by a list of his resources.

Dr. Bowling is an internationally recognized neurologist with more than three decades of clinical and research experience. He has devoted his career to developing and providing rigorous, comprehensive, and compassionate neurological care. Dr. Bowling has a longstanding interest in neurologically-relevant lifestyle approaches and unconventional medicine, including medical marijuana. He is Physician Associate at the Colorado Neurological Institute (CNI) and Clinical Professor of Neurology at the University of Colorado. Dr. Bowling has more than 100 lay and professional publications, including five books on multiple sclerosis, and has provided consultation or authored publications for many American and international health organizations.
