Brainiacs: Aurora Protest
In Project: Brainiacs

Students from about six Aurora schools converged in protest Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 on the Aurora courthouse to express their emotions and thoughts in regard to the fatalities of black men at the hands of police.

As the students converge, the video includes individuals making personal statements, as well as students engaged in debate with Aurora police officers.

To begin the show, Miranda Hook, a senior at East High School who participated in the protest Wednesday, reports what she experienced when four Denver police officers were run over by a car.  Miranda was standing across the street at the Tortas Grill but did not hear anyone make the offensive comments previously quoted.
