Men in skirts, bagpipe bands, civil war re-enactors, hoop skirts (on women), dancing pirates, green everything, clowns, dogs in costume, beads, brews, beards and babies fill downtown Denver's St. Paddy's Day Parade. Also longhorns and burrows, mountain men and Dennis Gallagher too.

You shoulda been there, so you wouldn't have to sit through Paula's annointing in green anything, and listen to her criticize those bills in the legislature.

March 30, 2013 is a great time to send lettuce and spinach seeds out to cavort with the snow, so if you never spent time this winter dreaming through a seed catalog (like they used to do) then this is your last warning. Maybe.

It is sooooo easy to grow spinach and lettuce in Colorado that it is also a crying shame if you must spend hard earned dollars on expensive salad greens instead.
