Brainiacs: LIVING WITH BRAIN INJURY
In Project: Brainiacs

"Living with Brain Injury" is a documentary produced by the New York Brain Injury Association, mostly focused on the trials experienced by a few American veterans after coming home. Lee Woodruff, wife of Bob Woodruff, narates this video of approximately 35 minutes long.

After the show, Paula fills up the hour with announcements of resources, some aimed at veterans specifically. Oh, and some Ukulele music, along with her perspective that everyone NEEDS a Ukulele.

Paula clarifies a bit about journalism being about reporting facts and opinions (properly labeled as such), which is completely different than the gossip and slander (sometimes) on the Internet. How to tell? No attribution.

In Project: Brainiacs

The 2014 Valentine Party hosted by the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado is not just an excuse to eat pink cookies full of sugar. It's also a time to celebrate the adventure camps BIAC sends survivors of Brain Injury to each summer ... and fall ... and winter ... and ...

Friends re-connect, slides show the wide variety of things to do in Breckenridge, and Linda Heesch, camp counselor #1, gives out door prizes while her granddaughter reads the numbers. You might see people you know in this footage, or persuade yourself to sign up to go to camp.
