After three years in the making, the next addition to Colorado's network of Mountain Automated Weather Observing Systems (AWOS) is now underway. Crews recently began pouring the concrete foundations and constructed the steel stanchions where the new Dakota Hill AWOS (C99) equipment will call its home. 

Rural Philanthropy Days is a statewide program that brings skill-building, collaborative, and funding opportunities to nonprofits and community organizations through twice annual regional conferences. 

Community Resource Center (CRC) is a nonprofit organization that provides professional development opportunities, resources, and customized training to nonprofits and community-based organizations in Colorado. CRC empowers nonprofits to fulfill their missions by building capacity, strengthening skills, and providing strategies for success.

The Colorado Education Initiative had three inspiring speakers for this year's Ed Talks in Snowmass. This episode is titled, "Being Gritty: Developing Habits of Character".  Kristen Hyde is a Personal Success Factors District Coach, and Assistant Principal of College View Elementary School in Denver, CO.
