The Colorado Division of Aeronautics attended the 33rd Annual Space Symposium. This amazing event is held annually at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Space Symposium attracts people and organizations from all over the globe, coming together to collaborate, network, and plan for the future of space exploration. 

For this show I wanted to learn something about the Santa Fe Trail, which is in the Southeast corner of Colorado. I stopped about in the middle of the Trail in La Junta, Colorado. I chose La Junta because it has three venues that I wanted to get more information on, one is the Santa Fe Trail itself, second the National Historic Site known as Bent’s Old Fort, and three a narrated Amtrak rail ride that starts in La Junta and goes to Albuquerque.

Students of Arts Street's Media Team created a documentary on Greenlee Elementary. We interviewed staff, students and families, researched the Denver Public School system, used specific tools in journalism to create a compelling narrative, and critiqued our work based on Colorado State Department of Education Standards. A short documentary by Denver Homeless Out Loud tracking the barriers encountered by the homeless in Denver in dealing with basics needs - sleeping, eating, finding bathroom facilities, warmth and shelter. Effectively, homelessness has been criminalized, as basic acts of survival are punished.
