Jan Patterson is a member of the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, who attended the SNAP conference in Denver and spoke to Paula Rhoads Hook about her son, who committed suicide.
After investigating, Jan and her husband learned that numerous teens and young adults associated with their Catholic parish had also committed suicide. Eventually, they linked these suicides to their sexual abuse by one Catholic priest.
This is perhaps the most persuasive episode for why child sexual abuse is anything but harmless.

Dr. Chu, a leading authority on dissociation, was keynote speaker at the Blue Sky Bridge conference in early 2002. Interestingly enough, he mentions the breaking news of the Boston Catholic Church's priest sex abuse scandal.
This was the first episode of "The Burning Cradle" thanks to Blue Sky Bridge's permission.

This Brainiacs continues a series about how people continued to dismiss claimant's brain injury symptoms and disabilities as humor, despite obviously noticing the impacts of a serious disabling jobsite injury.
This joke is by defense attorney Royce Mueller, apparently insulting claimant's damaged professional writing skills for the benefit of Judge Michael Harr, and seeming to imply a cozy enough relationship with the judge that the judge handed back claimant's correlated exhibits at the opening of the same hearing.
Paula Rhoads, producer of Brainiacs, demonstrates the indifference to the original worker's compensation purpose of establishing safe jobsites. Mike Berry falsely testified about a real situation in which he required claimant to hotwire a furnace without having any license to do electrical or HVAC work.
This show also includes clips from the 2013 Scottish Irish Highlander Fest, including one with a fairie and leprechaun, as well as the glorious music of pipe bands in Estes Park, Colorado shortly before the floods.
