Radian | Placematters is a collaborative design group focused on creating healthy and sustainable communities in underserved areas. As a non-profit community design center (501c3), we provide urban design and architectural services to community based initiatives. Denver is in an affordable and supportive housing crisis. For the unhoused community, it is especially difficult to find housing to get back on their feet. The Beloved Community Village will provide 11 tiny homes, meeting space, and bathing facilities for the homeless community. Each home will act purely as transitional housing, and is not the permanent solution. Providing someone with a home — no matter how small — allows one to lock their doors and leave personal belongings behind, making it easier to apply for housing, receive healthcare and seek employment.
