On the first Friday of every month, Open Media Foundation holds a free community event, Open Music Sessions, at the Denver Open Media studios (near the Santa Fe Art Walk) that spotlights local performance groups, comedians, musical acts, and nonprofit organizations.



The June 2018 broadcast features a live musical performance by local musician Kid Astronaut, stand up comedy from Nolawee Mengist and Aaron Maslow, and a non-profit spotlight on Westword and Intendence Film Festival.
