The Back Pages are a folk rock band from Southeast Colorado. Drawing inspiration from Elizabeth Cotten and Hank Williams to Tom Petty and Modest Mouse they strive to bring an alternative sound rooted deeply in American music’s past. With two trained sound engineers in the band, The Back Pages have been able to record and master their own material and are happy to give listeners something that is truly homemade. The Lion and the Sun will be their second album to be self released, following A Few More Ways To Live and their EP, Shifts.
