Free Nonprofit Meeting Space

This page is used by staff to make reservations. If you are looking for the nonprofit meeting space application, please click here.

In an effort to expand our partnerships with local non-profits and reach new and under-served communities, Denver Open Media (DOM) offers use of our studio-auditorium for meetings and small group activities. In exchange for the use of space we ask only that the host organization provides information to their participants about DOM and our work to put the power of the media to work for under-represented and under-served communities through our media education programs, cable television stations, and our growing network of noncommercial web and TV outlets. Space is available on a first-come-first-served basis, with priority given to members of Denver Open Media.

Meeting times are limited to around 2-3 hours and our space can only hold a max of 50-70 people depending on whether they are standing or sitting. Our hours available for free meeting space are, Monday 10am-6pm, Tuesday - Friday 10am-9pm, Saturday 11am-6pm

DOM's Free Non-Profit Meeting Space Opportunity applies only to the space that DOM directly leases (i.e. Studio A). This opportunity is for non-profit organizations (or similar groups) who need a space to conduct a meeting, event or workshop that is not generating money for their organization. At the time of your event, organizations will be given some information to read either before or after your meeting, highlighting the training and resources available to non-profit organizations through Denver Open Media. We require at least one member from the organization to attend an orientation session about our organization and be present at all uses of DOM space. These Your Voice, Your Media orientations are on the first and third Wednesdays of each from from 5:30-6:30pm.

Use of the space does not include use of A/V equipment, Projectors, Microphones, and/or Cameras, all of which are available for rent, or free of charge through DOM's membership program. If an organization is collecting funds at their event, we would encourage them to donate a portion of the monies collected to Denver Open Media to cover administration/facilities costs. In the event of a last-minute conflict, DOM will make every effort to provide a secondary meeting space within our facility. Rooms reserved under these guidelines should be reserved under the Free Nonprofit Meeting Space project.
