International Voices. Why Listen?
In Project: Colorado Is Global

Africans, native Americans and Chicano people - these are the people that have such a deep story to tell,  but rarely get the spotlight.

The youth of these cultures especially hardly get any love. They come from places all around the world, but are they frequently on the radio or the television or movies you see.

As part of the Visual Audio Club, a progressive multimedia and educational experience, we hope to tell the stories of a few budding, talented immigrant and children of immigrants right here in Denver - a city with an overwhelming number of international voices that are seldom heard.

Meet these Denver, Colorado locals making waves, vocally, inspirationally, creatively, memorably:

Ezana Tesfamarian, “Eazy Blank”

Ruben Saldivar-Romero

Shewit Hailu

Diego Florez-Arroyo, “Astro Revolution”

If you want to know more about them, check out these videos by Youth on Record, who has been training and offering mentorship for them, as well as countless other youth in Denver.
