The goal of this project is to produce a studio show that will give information to the public concerning the LISTOS program that is supported by SOCUE and directed by SOCUE staff members. The work of LISTOS is to support LGBTQ concerns in Denver with regard to providing a safe space to LISTOS members and promoting a ‘harms reduction’ approach to education about health, life-quality and civil and human rights. For the purpose of the studio discussions and topic design we are focusing on these objectives to allow audience and viewers a consideration of LGBTQ perspectives as they address:

1. Civil unions and the sanctity of family values.
2. Cultural values and the history of transgender/transsexual societies in the past vs. present
3. The social impact of negative policies and the endurance of the human spirit to resist injustices and maintain the integrity of one’s heart felt desires.
