Host Lynne Rawlins talks with Eric Morning, an Aurora, Colorado resident who organizes family-friendly events for the community.  Eric and five others have formed a non-profit organization called A Place of Shelter (APOS) to provide a "Christian-based social alternative to the city's typical nightlife" that is open to everyone.

On the first Friday of every month, Open Media Foundation holds a free community event, Open Music Sessions, at the Denver Open Media studios (near the Santa Fe Art Walk) that spotlights local performance groups, comedians, musical acts, and nonprofit organizations.

I had the pleasure to interview Anne Redureau, the Event Chair for the Paper Fashion Show and Susan Jensen Executive Director of Downtown Aurora Visual Arts.  The 13th Annual Paper Fashion Show is being held on Thursday April 6th in Denver and proceeds support DAVA, an organization that provides art education programs for urban youth.
