New Power-Pop/Indie-Rock sensation, The Solid Ocean, began as an unnamed project during the high school years of Joey Lowery (Lead vocals, guitar). He used music as an outlet for dealing with depression, as well as an opportunity to spread a hopeful message to others in times of sorrow and joy alike. Lowery then met Christian Garcia (Drums,vocals), Bailey Sutton (Lead guitar), Nathan Johnson (Keys, synth), and Jack Weakly (Bass) in college and The Solid Ocean was born. Through the use of funky bass rhythms, killer guitar riffs, space-rock synth leads, 80's style drumming, and catchy pop vocals, The Solid Ocean has crafted a unique, marketable sound and style that continues to captivate not only the people of Colorado, but many people throughout the entire U.S.​
