A recent indoor activity I did was to wander around the exhibits in the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, which features history from the dusty past to current subjects that can be further explored after you leave the building. One long-term exhibit features 19th century treatments for tuberculosis. The interactive display starts with you passing thru a faux city portal and hearing the hustle and bustle of a busy train depot welcoming those “chasing the cure”.
