A Quarter of the students in the United States are not finishing high school. We need to ask ourselves, are all of us as citizens, parents and teachers, giving the next generation of students a chance to succeed? Taking responsibility on this issue not only comes from succeeding in the classroom, but as a community and what the community can give back to students in order to help them succeed.

<p>This message by Dr. Calvin L. Kelly reminds us that no one is so bad that God cannot forgive him/her and change them for the better. Jesus told the woman about to be stoned for violating the Jewish law of adultery and chastity " Neither do I condemn thee, but go and sin no more." We too need to understand the mission of Jesus Christ and stop being pharisitic in our actions. Our God gives each of us a second chance through repentance.</p>
