On the first Friday of every month, Open Media Foundation holds a free community event, Open Music Sessions, at the Denver Open Media studios (near the Sante Fe Art Walk) that spotlights local performance groups, comedians, musical acts, and nonprofit organizations.

The July 2015 broadcast features music by Rossonian, comedian Daniel Reskin, and a "Nonprofit Spotlight" on Pop Culture Classroom.
