"Love a Shelter Pet" is adapted from the video, "All About those Pets," recorded previously by staff and volunteers of Denver Dumb Friends League. DDFL seeks to find homes for many pets and horses, and serves the community by providing health care and spays and neuters for abandoned and relinquished pets through its mobile clinics and facilities in Denver, Castle Rock and Harmony Equine Center near Franktown. DDFL also cares for and places for adoption cats, dogs and horses arriving through animal transport programs from other states, as well as animals displaced by natural disasters in places like Puerto Rico and Houston.
