First Friday Spotlight Application

Get your message on TV! Gain television exposure during DOM's First Friday Music Showcase. Every first Friday of the month, DOM holds a free community event, which spotlights local performance groups, musical acts and non-profit organizations. These events are broadcast live on Comcast channel 57 and re-broadcast on channels 56, 57 and 219, They are also available online, they are also available online and are licensed using Creative Commons Share Alike License (for more information see: http://www.denveropenmedia.org/news/creative-commons or www.creativecommons.org). Groups participating in the event will also receive a DVD copy of the event. (Please note: It usually takes a minimum of one month to have this DVD available for the performer.)

The approximate cost of this event is $500.00/hour. To make this service more accessible to members of our community we have created this short application form that will allow us to waive the cost of the event for your group or organization. By offering to draw a large crowd, supply a keg or create lots of flyers you can help us offset the cost of producing this event.
