Denver Open Media is largely driven by interns & volunteers. Many of the most important roles within our organization are occupied by interns, and our special events rely heavily upon volunteers. We would love to add you to our team!
Because we are a very technology-heavy organization, it usually takes quite a bit of time to get up to speed on how to use our equipment, and what our procedures & policies are. This time commitment is reflected in our Internship hour requirements (12/hrs a week for a 200 total). Most volunteers cannot pledge this much time, and therefore the tasks for volunteers usually fall within a few opportunities: helping with special events at the studio (either DOM events or studio shows that other members produce), administrative duties, or if you are really pro-active, you can design your own project within our current needs (after meeting with our staff).
