Today at Glam camp we learned about the microphones. There are three different kinds of microphones you can use when you are making your film. 1. A hand held microphone is mostly used when you are doing an interview on a busy street, so you can hear the person instead of the excess sound. 2. the boom is used when you are doing a narrative film. (mostly hollywood uses the boom mic) 3. lapelle mic is used when you are doing a sitting interview. (2020, dateline uses this mic.)
