This video explains what a Creative Commons license actually is, focused on the specific BY:NC:SA  licesnse favored at Denver Open Media.  It's aim is to dispel any preconceived notions that individuals may have about Creative Commons and explain the reasoning behind why Denver Open Media supports this license (as opposed to traditional copyright.)

Creative Commons licenses help you share your work while keeping your copyright. Other people can copy and distribute your work provided they give you credit—and only on the conditions you specify. This video explains the specific CC parameters used at D.O.M.  Keep in mind that there are many options for CC licenses that are much less-restrictive than the version used at D.O.M.
