Left Brain Right Brain
Tonight was the DBUG - Denver Boulder (Drupal) Users Group, talking about a hot content management system which is in increasing demand - Popular Science's website uses it, Sony's got a site based on Drupal, and we were digging into the secrets and sharing ideas. Fourth Tuesday, if you're interested... One of the keys to Drupal-based sites is that maintenance can be pretty easy for computer-literate users, so there doesn't have to be an expert on call just to update the landing page.

The Next Morning (After the Party)
So much energy! Lots of cool people, too. First Friday at Denver Open Media is a great showcase for the station, and a place to connect and share. In this case, it was mix CDs! Everyone who participated was excited about the wide variety of tastes and styles, and many of the participants exchanged CDs in person along with some conversation. We did leave-one-take-one with the piles some left (especially those busy with DOM activities) and some people just brought CDs to share without taking which was cool too.
